Zach soaking it all in. He had a great time. He was quick to show his brother and mom the knife blank Clint gifted him. He kept mentioning lasagna that Clint's wife provided as well.

And finally, a group pic of the gang. What a crew!  Thanks again Clint. Really enjoyed it. You and your family are top notch.

Clint may have received a bit too much sun . . . . . .  ;)
... alone in distant woods or fields, in unpretending sproutlands or pastures tracked by rabbits, even in a bleak and, to most, cheerless day .... .  I suppose that this value, in my case, is equivalent to what others get by churchgoing & prayer.  Hank Thoreau, 1857

That's one of those school archery team bows.  I had to try it out.  I think I'll stick with selfbows.

Thanks for posting those pictures Greg.  I'm glad you guys were able to make it.  And thanks for the skillet.  I bet I could fry an egg in it today without putting it on a stove.  It's hotter today than it was yesterday.

Due to the heat I didn't set up much of a bow range.  I put a row of targets in the back yard and we would line up to shoot them.  Me and Bill shot at the same time and our arrows collided in mid air.  One deflected down and one flew over the target like a wounded duck.  It was pretty cool.  I wish we had video of it.

That would be fine with me.  It will be December of 2017.  You should ride to Moontree with me in the spring.
