Old Hobbie I gave up
« on: July 14, 2016, 09:16:53 pm »
Use to build clocks until I got into Primitive Archery and now there's no time for it. This Clock was made from some hemlock from my dads old barn we tore down. 42" long with a 30 day movement.

This is a clock I built for mom and dad for Christmas several years ago. It's wormy chestnut I found in a old building up in the rafters. It was 20" long with a 7 day movement.

Those are so beautiful! Nice job, at least you replaced the hobby with Bowyer craft 😉.

It's been said many times before but I have to say it again, "lots of talent on this site."

Remember sleeping in my cousin's basement. Her husband collected Grandfather clocks and he must have had about 30 of them down there all set at different times. I didn't get much sleep listening to all the tick-toc and coo-coo's going of all different times of the night. They are some really nice looking clocks GUTSHOT.

Hi,

Awesome clocks...much better than the kit clocks I have put together...great to be using wood from the land and such.
