Mojam donation table kids bow.
« on: July 06, 2016, 11:17:09 pm »
I'm donating this little bow to the auction table at mojam.
IIt's red streak Osage with a Walnut insert in the tips. It has cherry and Leopard wood overlay recurves.  It has some snake on the top limb and a hole in the bottom limb.  A leather lacing handle wrap with a thick piece of leather for an ambidextrous arrow shelf.  Four coats of spray on lacquer.
It holds about 2inches of reflex and it's 23@24.
Shoots great and hits pretty hard for it weight.
Sorry for the  pics but I haven't had time to take good outside pictures. Thanks!

Patrick

Very cool little bow, Patrick. Gonna be at least one lucky kid at MoJam
I'm a little concerned that the overlays, especially where the string groove is  is beyond the tip of the limb. Looks like the leverage could break the glue joint with the leverage.
