Got my 2016 PA trade bow today
« on: June 27, 2016, 08:57:28 pm »
My daughter called me today at work. She was so excited I couldn't understand her.  Got her calmed down and she said my bow came in the mail today and she wanted to open it. So she faced timed me and I watched her open it. I don't know who was more excited me or her. Anyways I couldn't wait to get home and shoot it. Mwosborn built this hackberry bow and done a wonderful job. Shoots great feels good in the hand, well balanced, and the finish work is unbelievable. I just really like the way the darker ends and handle flows into the lighter color on the limbs it just looks like it's naturally done that away. Mitch I would like to thank you for a wonderful bow and you left no stones unturned on this one.

That's surely good looking!
I'll still get to that skill level so I can ship a bow myself 😂

Consider yourself lucky to have such a beauty!

That's a beautiful bow. You're a lucky man. Lets see a full draw when you get  chance.

Nice looking finish on that one. Is the top limb longer than the bottom? I would like to see a full draw picture also

We had a lot of rai. And I couldn't get nobody to come down to the garage to take a pick. Try to get one once the rain stops

:) Congratulations Paul!! You have done an outstanding job in this endeavor and deserve our thanks and appreciation. And Mitch, Thank You very much for being an integral part of this trade.

These bows are phenomenal and very unique. I better get to work.

I found many years ago that it is much easier and more rewarding working with those that don't know anything than those that know it all.

Your very welcome Paul.  I hope it shoots well for you.  I am not even close to being able to build a bow like many of the master on here, but I did work very hard on this one and it is as good as I have done to date.  I shot it for a couple of weeks (right handed), but once I started the finish work I did not shoot it again - I absolutely can not shoot left handed!  Let me know how it works with the arrow on that side of the bow.

BTW - this was the first trade I have been in - sure am glad I got in - it has been fun watching all these nice bows come together and get sent out.  Thanks again for getting it started Fred!
Enjoy the hunt!  Mitch
