I think in some American states it's illegal to hunt with that point right?

I don't know about all states.  Oregon it is my understanding this point wouldn't be legal due to the barbs.  In Utah it would be legal.  Different from state to state.

That is a very nice arrow. For what purpose did you use the  pine resin and what purpose did you use the hide glue?
