Thanks Matt. It was tough getting weight from it.

Looks like we are going to have a plaque made to add a winning name to each year. Which means we can snip a few more trees this year and do it all again in 2017 :).  We can try to switch species for 2017 if you guys want to.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

Elm is probably the best of the bow woods out there, Matt. I have spied some HHB, but not much and not that great quality wise. Most all of the maple is soft and no good for bows.

I won't be able to make a bow out of the elm stave I got last year yet. I have some water damage I am trying to repair in my trailer before then so I will be busy with that. I hope to be able to finish my daughters new surprise bow before then but, I am having doubts. This summer has been really busy. See you guys in a couple weeks.

Pearl I will let you know after this weekend, having lots of trouble with these and not sure how they are going to work out, don't want to let you down but ant donating a piece of crap either. >:(

Got the quiver made for my kid bow set. Commercial brain tan with a dogwood support. Beaver fur collar. Including a 1/2 doz arrows. I didn't make the arrows....couldn't beat the price. Bow is right around 15@18. My daughter wanted ro model it 8)
