My first ELB?

I'm not sure how this fits into the rules. I was kinda shooting for the Victorian Longbow look. My first horn nocks. Skinny little thing weighs 11.8 ounces with string. 63.5" NTN.  45#@ 28". Chrono and full draw will have to wait, it started to rain.

More. I'm not sure on the tiller. This was the bow that was so nice to work on that I lost track of what I was doing and tillered it to 26" on the long string. When braced it looked a bit whip tillered so I concentrated on the inners for the last two inches. I still kinda think it's bending a touch too much in the tips. Shoots really nice. Tad heavy for me yet but I'll work up to it.

Thanks Knotty. The rain stopped for a few minutes so I crony'd it. With a 444gr arrow(closest I had to 10gpp) I got mostly in the 166-168 range. Best was 171. That's the fastest I've shot with any of my bows!!

Victorian style bows were often tillered that way.

Pender, Woofies Pet Mart. They have Water Buffalo horn as dog chews. The hooves they have also make good tip overlays. "Sometimes" they have beef tendons that make decent sinew.

Here's the full draw. I didn't like the first FD pic so I retillered a bit. Took a few scrapes off the top limb. Cost me 2# so it's down to 43#. I think the top is still a touch stiff. It's not canted at all
