My 2016 Trade Bows

I made 2 bows for the trade this year. I still haven't decided which one to send out. One is red colored osage from a 20+ year old stave. It was full of lead pellets. It looked like it took a rabbit load years before it was cut. There is still some lead in it. One of the holes on the back has a pellet lodged in the bottom. I tried to get a picture of it. The red bow has a kink out of the bottom fade that makes the brace height and tiller look a bit off. The other bow has a hole mid limb and has curly grain. It doesn't show up in a picture as good as it does in person. That bow also has a knot angling through the fade. It kind of looks like a flaming bulls eye target above the arrow pass. Both bows had handles that were to nice looking to cover up with a leather handle wrap. I used sheep horn for a small arrow rest and for the overlays. Sorry for all the pictures.
The red bow. This is the hole with the pellet in it.
The kink out of the lower fade
The yellow bow. You can see the curly grain in this picture.

Both of those bows are awesome. Both have great character, nice color and great tiller job. You may just need to flip a coin to figure out which to send. You really can't go wrong.

Those two bows are really nice! I love the sheep horn arrow rests and tip overlays. Great job on those two.
