is p.a. not shipping to Canadian news stands any more? i used to pick up every issue at the drug store in town. the store says it has them on order but no new magazines have come in for about three issues now... whats up?

I can't answer for positive but there was talk that PA was going to drop Newstand sales and go subscription only. I guess they are almost selling at a loss on newstands

I've never been in the newsstand business or the magazine business either for that matter but my instincts tell me that any newsstand copies would have to be given credit if not sold. So I imagine it could easily be a losing proposition for the magazine.

I'll say it again, Subscriptions for this magazine is cheap. I wonder how many on here spend more then that a year on shipping when trading others on this site?

I think Marc mentioned something about that a month ago, no more news stands. I buy 2 years at a time to avoid the yearly hassle, its under $50 I think.
