I can't answer for positive but there was talk that PA was going to drop Newstand sales and go subscription only. I guess they are almost selling at a loss on newstands

I heard the same thing. They make no money on Newstand sales.

I've never been in the newsstand business  or the magazine business either for that matter but my instincts tell me that any newsstand copies would have to be given credit if not sold. So I imagine it could easily be a losing proposition for the magazine.
I found many years ago that it is much easier and more rewarding working with those that don't know anything than those that know it all.

I'll say it again, Subscriptions for this magazine is cheap. I wonder how many on here spend more then that a year on shipping when trading others on this site?

I'm with Mullet, cheap subscription and the magazine pays to run this here site, most of you waist the price of the magazine 2-3 times a month

I think Marc mentioned something about that a month ago, no more news stands. I buy 2 years at a time to avoid the yearly hassle, its under $50 I think.
