I put a couple or three dings in my Cascara bow. I got all but one out with a wet cloth and a steam iron. It doesn't want to come all the way out. I watched a bunch of Youtube vids and followed what they did. What they didn't say was if it doesn't come out right away can I come back at it later, like after it's dried and cooled? If I do that can I expect better results? Is there anything I could add to the steam/water to improve the results? I was thinking alcohol or soap. Cascara really bends easily with steam but it is really soft and even minor pressure will ding it. I did put clamping boards/spacers but it dinged the end. One I even cushioned with 1/8" leather.
