Mojam needs more!
« on: May 13, 2016, 07:36:55 pm »
There was entirely to much camping space at mojam last year. Attendance has stalled at  mojam. There is a great group of people there every year regsrdless. Id would reslly like to see some of the op ast attendees  thst havent been in awhike come back and see if we can fill the place up again. So thisbyear, no excuses. Be there or be square.

You know I love to come hang with ya at mojam Dave, but man the way everyone keeps talking about the oppressive heat just scares the hell outta me. My little marshmallow camper might just melt in the sun there.
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.

Im pretty sure because it is in a city park technically.  Open fires are not allowed. I have seen a few exceptions  made under the right cimcumstances.  I assure you, they arent needed.

Greg, im sorry, i couldnt read your response  becuase my eyes dont recognize  bs excuses. (Just kidding) >:D

Greg I assure you it is not oppressive. After the first few hours you get used to it. The key is shade and there is plenty down at the bow building pavilion. The good times and late night libations make up for it.

I've got to get it longer so I can donate to those that can't grow beards.

In the past we have had some small campfires around that were contained in something. They definitely don't allow fires on the ground.
It has been a rare MOJAM when a fire has been needed for warmth ,or even appreciated for the ambiance, but I do recall a couple.  :)

I have SOOOO MANY things that are complicating my schedule this summer, ...but I will NOT miss MOJAM.  It would be like missing church, only much much worse! ...and with no opportunity to make up for it for a whole year!!!

I really wanted to go and spend at least a complete day there. I want to meet more of you guys there.
Alas I more than likely will not be able to go. Our oldest son and family are heading out for missionary training
school to go to a foreign field. This is more important to be here for them.
