They say Old Trucker never die they just get a new Peter Built
Lol! That's right!
Dog-my '06 flat top came from KC Pete. She was a nice ride, but it had the 475 accert in it.
Ryan-I run border to border and coast to coast, but we don't cross em anymore.
Del- that is funny! I bet she was a might confused for a moment
Eddie-You're right peterbago just don't have a good ring to it. I haven't named her yet. I bounced a couple prospective names off the Mrs. Such as "Peter Palace", "Kansas Cat House" and a few others. For some reason she didn't seem to like any of em.
Bob- you retired at a good time. It's not just the equipment being regulated to death.
Pappy- I do know what you mean. I put this girl through the paces yesterday and most of last night. Aside from having to familiarize myself with that super 10 and finding the motors sweet spot it was a fine ride. It does need the governor"adjusted". Can't have a large car governed at 65. I think the mechanics were having a little sport with me.
Josh- you're dad's a driver and you managed to avoid following in his foot steps? That gives me hope for my boy. My family has been in the transportation industry since the 1860's. You might say we were truckers before anyone invented a truck. I hope my son aims a little higher with whatever occupational field he enters.
Thanks for all the nice comments fellas. When I get her all dolled up and polished, I'll post a couple pics. If anyone can think up a good name, I'll sure consider it. Josh
