Sorry Bob, I lost my English Setter a year ago he was 12 too. Their lives are way too short for what they give, especially birddogs - as much as they make you crazy they give back twice as much as a normal dog.

Sorry for your loss, I lost my setter about 25 years ago and still think about him often.

Thanks for all the kind words all. This has been a tough one for sure - Bob.

Bob, so sorry to hear about Izzy.  She will be missed, sitting next to her at the campfires.  I'll miss watching her chasing the chippies at camp.  She was a great dog, hunting partner and a loyal companion for you for many years.  I'll always remember her sitting in her chair watching you, waiting to head to the woods.  You are always in my thoughts.

Sorry to hear that you lost Izzy Bob, I remember meeting her when I first met you a few years ago at Elm Hall. A good dog is something special and I know you were quite fond of her. Take care my friend and I hope a new 4 legged friend comes along in your future to make new memories with.
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.
