Wax over Spar Urethane?
«

Hey guys,
I have a question about whether or not it is necessary to put a coat of paste wax over a bow sealed with spar urethane or a similar finish if its going to be used in the elements?
Thanks,
Aaron

It can't hurt. I would do it but then I'm a belt and suspenders kind of guy.

You might consider it if you will be shooting in wet weather.

Wax over urethane isn't needed at all. But, if you use matte finish the wax wont work in and it leaves white blotching. If you use a gloss urethane it will apply nicely.
