I'm trying to get a couple pieces of 2x4 hickory board about 3ft long to make axe handles with. All my local lumber yards have to mill it special. It doesn't have to be exactly dimensional like that. Chunks split out of a log would work if the have good longitudinal grain. PM me if anyone has any sources. Thank you.
