Hi guys, this days i finished a short bow, backed with sinew. The wood is Cornus sanguinea. I had this short piece of wood, and said to give it a try. The bow is 54'' long NTN, it pulls 35lbs @ 28''. I pulled it up to 29'', and the draw is smooth. I'v shoot already a couple of arrows, and it goes really nice..the arrows war not realy what it should be for such a light Bow ( 400 grains), but the bow is shooting still quite nice...not crazy fast, but realy decent with those arrows.
The handle is wraped in Rawhide, and the Noks, are just directly cut into the wood, reinforced with sinew ofcours.
