First deer with longbow

Sorry this is a bit late but have been busy. Harvested a little 8 point with my longbow. Not primitive but I did use a bamboo arrow I made. Shot at ten yards quartering toward me.

That is great! I know that was exciting to accomplish that goal. Good deer too. Heart pounding stuff for sure! I would love to hear how the hunt went.
