Black walnut all heartwood

Black walnut I cut over three years ago dug this piece out took all the sap wood off to a heart wood ring (alittle more meticulous to chase a ring than Osage). Turned out a hair over 40# at 26". Took about a 1/2" of string follow. Gorgeous wood, first all heartwood I've done in walnut and I have to say I like it much better than the sapwood.

That ones a beaut! I love the colors of walnuts heart wood. I'm liking the bend too. Probably light in the hand too.
