Good day at my close to the house hunting place.
« on: March 30, 2016, 02:26:26 am »
I have not been hunting my property for the last couple years. neighbors and development was changing and it just was not feeling right. today everything has changed. property back to normal and it looks like it will just get better. I was pleasantly surprised. A change like this seldom happens to a property these days.

You are lucky, I see the changes all the time and it just makes me sad. :) I guess as long as I am living my hunting area will stay pretty much the same, after that who knows, probably not. :(

Glad for you.  I live in a fairly remote area but it's not immune to change

The place is just a small 18 acre wood lot but is bordered by a creek, a road and pasture. The overgrown pasture was leased to a hunt club the last couple years and of coarse their favorite place to hunt was my fence line. Well the owner of the pastures has improved and clearcut the pastures. I guess someone in the family decided to be a rancher again. Good for me.
