Hello guys! I have a rough bow that has 16 inches of one end slightly deflexed.I want to move it to the original position and reflex it slightly but should I steam it or boil it? The wood is black locust sapwood.

if you leave the limb slightly reflexed it will shoot fine,, it may even pull out some with tiller,, steam would probably work ok for that,, I would coat the wood to prevent checking
