9 ft gator killed with self bow

Took this gator with an Osage self bow I made (60 lbs.) with POC arrows, finished and fletched myself. Beast taken in the LA swamps not far from where I was raised.

Nice!  We're a little short on gators here in Ohio, but I bet that's a fun hunt.

I'd love the experience.  Where do you shoot em? In the head? How do you track and recover them?

Very nice job. I tried the buried thing with one of mine, hope yours works out better than mine did.
