Thanks guys. I couldn't help it I just had to break out chronograph today. Results pleased me. Not a fire burner but plenty to take an ole deer. 47 pounds at my draw and 526 grain woody.

Well done Billy!  You will be more proud of that first deer no matter what it is, than likely any you've taken before. You've got skills, now make some kids bows!

That's about as nice of a "first" bow that I've seen posted.

Pretty darn good in fact excellent for a first bow.Better than mine but I still got it hanging around.Now you can ponder on a next build.That's always fun too.
