Any body here play the didgeridoo?

My 10 year old has taken interest in it and can actually play it but is still learning circular breathing. His is a pvc one and i just made him on of bamboo. I cant get the bamboo to resonate and neather can he. Any tricks?

narrow the mouth piece line it with bees wax. try blowing bubbles through a straw.... O hear it works but have been unable to accomplish it...youtube playing the didgeridoo.

Also give it a good once over for extra holes, cracks, or anything that might hinder vibration. The more smooth you can get the inside the better.

The easiest length to play is between 4-5 feet. Too short and you get trumpet noises. Too long and it's hard to reverberate.
