Hello folks. It's about March and if it's alright with you all I'd like to roll this out slightly earlier this year so we can ideally be complete by mid-May. I'd like to be out the door in June to go hiking and with the end of the school-year and all would like to see this all wrapped up prior...anyhow.
Things went so smoothly last year, I'm happy to organize again. It was little trouble. If we are all game, then I propose the same basic rules:
1. State the # of points you are sending out.
2. I'll write a name per point on paper strips and do the hat thing.
3. My wife will draw names.
4. I'll post the sequence and you send a point to the name above yours. If a name is repeated in the draw from multiple entries, consecutively, the name will be reshuffled. First drawn sends to the last person.
5. You are responsible for sending your contact info. to the person.
6. Would like to keep this US only. If there is international interest, say so, and we'll see who all enters and make a decision from there before the draw. No promises.
I think we sent out about 60 points last year without any hitch and hope things can operate as well, again.
May the wind always be at your back gentlemen, and the sunshine upon your face. Otherwise, things could get messy.
