After the road test to Twin Oaks, you should point it northwest and bring it out to the Black Hills to hunt turkeys!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

Thanks Guy!  I had plans of getting a lot done on the camper the last 3 days but I decided to play with my chainsaws first.  I got a little carried away and didn't get much time to spend on the camper.  I did work on framing up the walls this afternoon.  I'm going to focus on it this weekend and try to get caught up.

Thanks.  I'll bring some tools to work on it.  Might be able to bring it back to life.

Today I finished putting the cross boards in the walls so I will have something to screw the barn siding to.  I attached the walls to the porch roof I have it parked under.  That will allow me to take the temporary supports out and still keep the walls straight.  I got started on the roof ribs.  I'm probably 1/3 of the way done with them.  Tomorrow the goal is to finish the ribs and then get started on the barn siding.  Progress is slow since I am doing it all by myself.  Its starting to take shape.

Thats actually starting to look like a camper Clint. Can't wait to see it with the siding.

Shaping up nicely Clint, I've always thought building a camper would be a fun project. What are your plans for a roof material?

Thanks guys.

Greg, I'm planning on using corrugated metal barn roofing.  That's what I spaced the ribs out for.

I spent another solid day working on it.  I got a lot done but not as much as I had hoped for.  Since I'm by myself I have to clamp a lot of boards in place before I can screw them together.  Another set of hands would make it go a lot faster.

I finished installing the rest of the roofing ribs.

I framed up the storage area/bed frame.

I cut out the door opening.

I covered the walls with roofing felt.  That should help keep the water out.  I used a chalk like to mark where the cross boards are located.  I moved all the barn siding to the building where I'm working on the camper.  I should be all set up and ready to start putting them on in the morning.

I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left
