Thanks guys heck i had it in the stave press and told levi to step back and i lifted the limb and asked him if the bend looked smooth, he looked at it and after a slight pause pointed to a spot and said it wasn't the same as the rest, and sure enough he saw a slight stiff area, the boys a natural😀

thats the way its done best.... they'll always remember too.
so many lessons can be applied while working together
when i'm working on things my ancestors worked, singing the songs my ancestors sang, dancing the same dances, speaking the same language, only then  I feel connected to the land, THIS land, where my ancestors walked for thousands of years...

 Levi got s ok me more time in the shop today, he took the drawknife and thinned the lev ers some and then grabbed the heat gun and we used the new caul i made for his bow

He got some nice hooks too, he thought it was cool that after a little heat the wood bent, it's really fun showing him this too! Heck i wish i got bends like that on my fourth try let alone first

Yeah he did pretty good Clint, we did have a good time we even got his string made i did the second loop and he did the first after i got him started
