Timber Rattler Guava Longbow.. Braced and Full draw pics
« on: February 13, 2016, 05:24:19 pm »
Just finished the Tung Oil coating on this bow.

The wood came out beautiful ( so hard to get pictures to really show )

Paduk overlays always look good

The color of the skins is really matching the wood nicely

Will get the grip on sometimes today than I'll take the full spectrum of obligatory pictures  ;D ;D ;D

the Bow has equal length limbs

.......Now, when you'll look at the braced and full draw pictures you'll need to take in consideration that the upper limb is straight and the lower limb starts reflexed than turns at mid limb.

Ho yeah, it shoots great and it's very quiet.

That came out great manny.  I like the simplicity of the handle...looks comfy.  That guava is some gorgeous wood.

This one is strawberry guava not the common yellow.

Guava wants to grow like a bush so to get decent bowwood you need to go into deep dark valleys where the trees will grow strait and tall because they're looking for light

Real nice looking bow and that is some pretty looking wood. I've never held guava in my hand but from the pics. it just looks like a dense wood, is it?

Good looking bow, many.

Paco, yellow guava makes a good bow, also.
