Hartville Uplift Chert/ Jasper for trade
« on: January 31, 2016, 11:17:17 am »
I have flate-rate boxes available of Hartville Uplift Chert/ Dendritic Jasper from Platte County, Wyoming for trade. This material flakes beautifully with no heat-treatment, leaving a nice waxy flake scar. It has been a favored material from Clovis times (cir. 13,000 years ago) until lithics fell out of use on the Plains.
I am in need of brain-tanned hides, backstrap sinew, shoot/cane arrow shafts, etc.

I'll pass. A Brain Tan hide for a Med Flat Rate box is too steep for me. Cool looking rock, tho.
