Dana that is a rewarding looking bow, Charc an fat bring out the grain nicely.
How long are ya outside when takin those photos? Freezing,Berrrr.

yes, like the woodpecker pic, too! - lots of snow! had no winter here two years in a row and it's actually a skiing area where i live! spring is here since two weeks; had the warmest april ever last year...

nice bow, dana.  i particularly like the nocks.  how do you like elm for bow wood?  i've got a stave in my basement, that's waiting to become a holmegaard.  just haven't had the time (nor the guts) to tackle it.

Dana, looks like you nailed it, great job on that bow, makes me reconsider some of the crooked wood drying in my pile. That woodpecker is purty, my father has some really huge ones that come to his suet bag. Yesterday I had a pair of cardinals at my feeder, a beautiful contrast to the bright white snow. If they're back today I'll have to get some pics

Good looking bow dad, mail it to me and ill put it to use stickin pigs down here in georgia :P They are everywhere!! Almost(more like swerved) hit one today heading down to lower base to go to work, it was a big one too.
