Yesterday I was cleaning more fish.
There is a small canal nearby where some Blue Herons hang out.
I start to hear one squawking and don't think to much of it.
Then the squawking got real hectic and seemed to be moving.
I was thinking mating season or something like that.

So I stepped out where it was clearer. The squawking was above me.
I see this raptor, not as big as a Red Tail or Broad Wing and a lot lighter
in color. Hot on it's tail is a Blue Heron and another on it's way up.

These three creatures played the thermal and engaged in combat for
at least 4-5 minuets before the hawk took off with the herons in hot
persuit. Never seen that before.
