Sister staves for twin brothers
« on: January 23, 2016, 01:15:27 pm »
Been a while since I've posted...too much work and too many broken attempts in the shop. These 2 bows were Christmas presents for my ten year old nephews....2/3 of a set of triplets, but their sister wanted girl stuff. Bows are BL....sister staves from the same quarter split. 60" TTT & 25# each at 24". Tips flipped with dry heat & dyed with black leather dye. Skins are WDB from Pine Hollow.

Nice, looks like you put some heart into those two bows. You gotta be their favorite uncle now.
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.

Great looking bows.  I love seeing the young kids shooting bows.  Nicely done.
