Thanks everyone, It's a nice bow. It'll be my shooter...until my next one.
The tiller of the bow is left a little bit stiff in the outer limbs to keep the string angle low. This makes for a pretty smooth draw. It's taken about an inch of set after shooting for a couple of days, so I'm happy.
Lennie, the nocks they used most of the time were sort of half nocks, at least on the upper limb. They used one slot on the upper limb, and two on the lower. It's not an exact replica, but I figure it gets the point across, and it was good practice for a closer replica.
All right, Justin, I tried what you said, let's see how it worked.
