I think some of the character you're seeing may be the fact that the bottom, more reflexed limb took very little set when combined with the heat treatment, where the less reflexed top limb took some set despite the heat treatment.

It looks like a comfortable shooter with the string angle at full draw. The bow itself looks like a deer slayer to me. Great work on that elm wood.

 Dragon man,  I just used those metal takedown tubes you can get at 3 rivers, then just did a leather wrap to cover the metal.

Very nice bow man. I like the front profile and you finish work.
May I suggest to use the t/d sleeves in the opposite way you do: Long sleeve on the lower and short sleeve on the upper limb.

But really cool bow buddy!
