Another Invitational 2016 Bow Trade...

I got some pix taken this weekend, but they are stuck on my wife's phone instead of MINE!!!  I'm texting her now to send them to me.

These are kinda small, but they'll keep y'all till I get some better ones in hand.

This is a lovely example of Half-eye's bow work!  A wiggly Osage character stave, native styled pin nocks, rattler skin backing,  black fur collars above and below the handle area, sinew string, ...altogether a beautiful and deadly piece of artwork.

I'll get some better pix of this bow and measure out it's stats as I squeeze a bit more time out of my days between now and MOJAM!    So far, I've only had time to fling a few shafts thru it in my back yard.  It draws very evenly and has more punch than the draw feels like it should have.  I sank my very blunt and dull practice arrows the full length of the shaft almost to the fletchings from 25-30 yards away.

...but what if it were to happen that the Mailman says it came to your place on Monday, ...but somehow, let's say -magically, it were to disappear prior to your wife getting off work in the evening?    Wouldn't that be FUNNY!!!

Got the bow all signed . Now to get a tube to put it in and get it on its way. I have really enjoyed shooting this one.
