The overlay popped off great. If it wasn't for the string groove and the hot horn wanting to bend, I could've popped it off with finger pressure. But I had to use a knife and the glue line broke so easy that I managed to cut myself a little when the knife went through. Heating the bend back went great. It took a little more curve than the other one had, so I popped the overlay off it too and bent it to match the same. So in the morning I'll glue the overlay back on followed by gluing the underlay on in the evening. Then the bow should be good to pull back again.
