Here's my offering. 66" Osage bendy. It pull 42# at my guys draw length and it shoots pretty good (I'm not great at archery yet so it shoots good for me). Bone guitar saddle blanks for tip overlays and a hemp cord wrapped handle. I got the belly skin from Cip (thanks sip). The handle is built up with leather and the rest is also leather.  This bow has a bit of character and was my first bendy. Thanks and any comments are appreciated. Tim.

Life is still finding ways of slowing me up but I've finished testing the bow and it shoots really nice, no hand-shock, very little set: scales say weight is OK but it feels lighter than the scales indicate.  Finally managed to get hold of some 600 grit sanding pads, so, figure about 2 hours left on the carving, then whatever it takes to fine sand, varnish and wax it. Will post some photos when the carving is finished.

Fingers crossed for shipping the beginning of next week, but then I've said that before  :-[.......All the pencil marks have been carved off, and that is always a good sign that things are nearly all done.

Thanks guys. I'm hoping to ship Wednesday unfortunately I won't have another day off till Wednesday so I'm afraid it will be down to the wire. But it will be shipped by the end of the month.

I'm in the Cayman islands right now....I probably should have mentioned that.  If a bow was shipped my neighbor would have grabbed it tho.

I don't think palm trees would make a great bow.  Everything out here has become pretty hurricane resistant over the years and can bend every which way without breaking.
