I figured I would post my mugshot as well.  Met some of you guys at the classic at Pappy's place, so this picture seemed appropriate.  This was three years ago and bow #1 for me, a proud moment and a sense of accomplishment.

Well if everyone else is putting up their head shot, I might as well too. This was a couple years ago, but I seem to age like yew, slow.

Just a little catfish I caught while perch fishing. I actually thought it was a snag. I was trying to break the line when he started shaking his head. I was in 60' of water and it took 45 minutes to get him up to the boat. He was released after the photo and hit my friends rig as soon as he got back to the bottom. He must have been worn out cause my buddy had him landed in less than 10 minutes. I know the southern guys are wondering why I wouldn't keep a catfish. Well, on lake Erie, you don't eat bottom feeders unless you want to glow in the dark.
I have nothing but scorn for all weird ideas other than my own.

Got my shop cleaned out had mulberry shavings all over. Couldn't even walk.  Got my HHB designed out. But I will be using a band saw for the hhb. Save my shoulders. I'll probably use the mulberry for a takedown but I'll keep this hhb for a back up its 68"

Nothing to exciting. Sometimes I don't mind being in the kitchen.
Half eye saved me from straightening the twist out on one of the limbs. The other one still needed a little to save me some headache later.

If you didn't receive your guys name  tonight then it's probably because either you or your guy hasn't posted the pics I requested. Some have contacted me and told me they would be delayed and I have no problem with that. I can wait.

I'm done for the evening and will pick up tomorrow where we've left off.

If anyone is in dire straights for wood or any other items please get in touch with half eye or myself.

I've been pretty swamped tonight and may have made some commitments that I failed to write down. For those of you that contacted me earlier you might want to remind me again in the morning.

That's the life of a factory maintenance man. We average around 6 12 hr days a week. It gets old. But what can I say I'm living where I grew up and raising a Family in this small town. I guess I will be old and bauld not gray one of these days too. Lol.

Damn fine group of folks in this trade!!

Hey David E. Good to see you here buddy  ;)

Picked out a stave of black locust me and a friend cut 3 years ago. Got a ring chased. Check out that hump over the knot.

I have yet to make a BL bow except for the little one for my 4 yo boy. That is a sweet straight piece you got there.
