Weylin was kind enough to put the finishing touches on my trade bows tiller while I'm in the hospital. In a couple weeks when I'm out I'll finish it up and get it sent off

:)

Bout time slacker! Man, if your bow ships on time i don't ever want to hear, "life got in the way" for an excuse ever again.

Get yourself better brycey boy 😉
H

Exactly the kind of point I'm trying to make:)
Hopefully I will be out in time with a few spare days to shape the handle, final sanding, few layers of finish and stitch on some leather.

Thanks for all the good thoughts fellas :)

Next time somebody gives me some flimsy excuse for shipping late I am going to direct them to this thread! Have them talk to Bryce!

My bow's all ready for some tru-oil. I just finished writing on it and adding my maker's mark.  Sorry I didn't get many progress pictures along the way. At this point I may as well just wait and show off the finished product. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Hope my victim likes it.

Very nice bows everyone.  I'm getting mine ready to send out and that should be this week

You got lucky Bryce.  Glad to see you are getting better.  Reflecting on all the crazy things I have done over the years, it's a wonder I'm still alive  ::)

Nice work Mr Olive. And, you are a heckuva friend to Bryce. Tweaking his trade for him when he was down is first rate class act stuff. Exactly what I would expect from you and why I have you on my "good guy" list. :)

Thanks, but it's no big deal. I'm positive Bryce would have done the same or more had the tables been turned.

Bryce and Weylin, Kudos to both of you for finishing the bow.  Given the circumstances everyone would have understood if it wasn't completed.  It speaks highly of your character.  I'm glad you are doing some bow work again Bryce.
