Breaking Stone
« on: January 19, 2016, 11:41:12 am »
Tower and i got together this weekend to break stone.  here are the results.
First pic is all abo, the two long points are mine and the grey is towers is agatized wood with awesome color.  If you have ever seen a Tower point, then you will know what I mean when I say it is thin.

the next photo are the points that I made.  I have to say that I did pick up three pieces of broken points from Towers pile and turned them into points.

the third photo is of Tower's points.  Man talk about thin, and straight. what a beautiful stone that one with spots.

all together

Glad you guys got together. There are very few knappers in NE Arkansas, so I just knap alone.

Great work.

Man, Squatch, your knapping has been improving in leaps and bounds. Those points are sweet and that agatized wood is really a cool looking material.
