Well here it goes.
What a great time I had with all of you guys. I FINALLY got to meet almost everyone that I know here on PA.
First off I would like to say a huge thanks to Guy and all of the Wilder Creek conservation club! Ya'll are a class act for sure!
This was an awesome trip for me, I was able to share the ride with my good friend Eric. And this is my farthest travel for a primitive event.
As usual we were one of the first to arrive and the last to leave. And several nights we were the only ones left to turn the lights out in the pavilion.
I usually don't get as much done as I would like because I'm always the first one to offer assistance to anyone who ask or just looks like they are having trouble. But that's what these events are about, helping the newcomers. I made some great new friends and learned a few things as well. One that I won't forget is having a cup of coffee with Norm Blaker.
I checked off a couple of items on my bucket list to. A shot a sweet little horn bow and learned to throw an At Lattle.
I made a few trades and received a few gifts. Nothing super fancy but I'm always greatful.
I did however aquire 6 Norm Blaker At Lattle darts.
TThe best part was there were no flying objects on the highway in either direction. Unless you count the cooler that somehow came out from under our rachet strap and scooted down the highway just east of Indianapolis.
Thank you all for all the kind words, I felt at home at Marshall. You guys come and see us at mojam now ya'hear.
I'll post some pictures later.
