Im back from our get away, Aarons right, our last little vacation before Jr arrives
The "invitational" idea was brought up for a few reasons, the main one, to be brutally honest, to weed out the slackers, and those who are probably not ready yet.
Of course, the spirit of the trade is to make the best bow you can for someone, and most of all, to have fun.
Really, that should go without saying. An entry shouldnt need motivation or need to promise to make the best bow they can.
They should already be a hot blooded bowyer who can make great/amazing bows.
The idea was that if you are invited, you can in turn invite someone else, (or more)
This isnt meant to exclude new guys, heck, Im a new guy!
Id love to see some interest from some of PA regulars, whose view of the trade has been tainted from previous years.
None of this is set in stone, and still open for suggestions.
If im going to head it with the Mullet, invitational is the only way Id do it.
If someone else was game to run it the way its been run in the past, than thats great too
