ISO stone points and pine pitch
« on: January 17, 2016, 11:23:05 am »
Wanting to trade some whitetail back strap sinew for points and pitch. I have quite a bit ( over 100) of sinew available.

Also owe a couple of favors to a few of you so if you're interested in sinew give me a holler. Fred

I'm also interested in yew. Matching billets would be fine.

I found many years ago that it is much easier and more rewarding working with those that don't know anything than those that know it all.

Yes, hunting points. I'd also interested in some basic knapping tools and some beginner rock.

How much pitch?  Sticky or hard?  I ran into a ponderosa pine the other day with a summer lightening storm scar running down the trunk and it was loaded.
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

JW, I've got charcoal, poo, and beeswax too  I just need enough to make up a good batch for hafting points and some odds and ends projects. I want enough to keep a batch available when needed. If someone already has a batch prepped that's fine too, that way I won't have to get my hands in the poo.

I don't have any good hunting points like I thought I did.
