Now problem bubby,  the brass would look great but I'm trying to make this without using any metal parts. I think I'm going to braid the strap and attach horn toggles to each end of the strap. Those will hook through loops that are wrapped onto the tube. Anyways that's the thought as of now.

Here is another small update on the quiver.
With me being the detail oriented type person I was having trouble with the way the inside of the tube looked. So I acquired a "flapper"  type sanding disk from work. I made a makeshift extension out of 1/4 inch all thread. I clamp it in my vise very lightly. Then attached the disk to the ole Dewalt and sanded the bajesus out of the inside of the tube. It's not perfect but you can't see the glue runs on the inside and I thinned the Walnut and boo a touch. Then I resprayed the inside of the tube to try and help seal it up some. Here is a pic of what I did.

Thanks Pearl! That would be cool if you don't mind? I've been trying to figure out what exactly to use for that part. I'm going to put a thick piece of leather on the bottom as well. I haven't quite figured out the top yet though.
