Manizzle
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

I dont remeber seeing the letters c-r-o-s-s when i said "BOW" .....  ::)  ;)

Anything not restricted by the rules is fair game rigjr?

I knew that would come up  :P

Attaching and rigging a small natural materials only type handle would be ok if you think you need to be a cheater and use a crutch  >:D i wont say any names..ahem clint  >:D  :laugh:

Hawkster:  We need some clarification.  Earlier I saw you posted 24" total.  Others have posted 24" Tip to Tip.  Please clarify.  Wouldn't want to have a bow end up in the fire!  >:D :-[

Ready for sinew...  This one has been tedious, I have to say.
Siyas are a bit bulky IMO.  Will have to trim them a bit later.

  That little jig Matt made to hold his bow while sawing is a very good example of attention to detail that I admire so much. That is a great looking little bow if it doesn't break Matt! I can't wait to hear your reports on it.

I think you meant to say, "while sinewing", Steve.  I can't saw it in half yet!   :laugh:  Thanks for the kind words.  Hope all is well with you.

Have couple mini arrow prototypes completed. Believe these are 15" ... 1/4" dowels w/ 60 grn tips. One has 1 1/2" feathers and other is approx 2". Liking the 2" much better, but area for fingers is gettin' bit tight! Also an appropriate size quiver to put those arrows in.

... alone in distant woods or fields, in unpretending sproutlands or pastures tracked by rabbits, even in a bleak and, to most, cheerless day .... .  I suppose that this value, in my case, is equivalent to what others get by churchgoing & prayer.  Hank Thoreau, 1857

Thanks, Hawkster.  What I meant to say earlier was TTT or NTN.  You answered it though.

It's a fun project however, it's not a bow yet.  I won't count any chickens until the arrow flies.
