Eric, Jon and Patrick,,,,what is your eta to Wright City Friday night????

If the Google is to be believed, ...and IF we leave on time or there abouts, We should be there around 8 PM or shortly thereafter.

Thats what I was thinking to Eric. Only thing is my bladder may not cooperate. My goal is to be there by 830pm.

yes sir Patrick,,,,taking44 would be fine if you didn't have to bring hwy 47 and 50 and stoplights and little towns and nasty road,,,5-54-70 is all 4lane and good road. I have driven both ways numerous times and 5-54-70 is probly 45min faster now that you bypass all the lake area

Cool! Google says that  44 is 5 min faster and 220 miles. And by going through the lake and Jeff it's 330 miles and 5 min slower than 44. But I think I will take your advice Chris,  besides I grew up running around a good bit of that area down below  Jeff city.

I'll get there around noon or so of saturday for sure. She'll be a little chilly but counting on it being about 5 degrees warmer down there with you southern boys.Warm enough to work and shoot with no gloves.I'll keep shoulder and arm warmed up I figure loosing arrows. From Corydon,Iowa I'll take 2E. to 63S. to 70E. to the exit.Hammer down and steady.

Starting to get just a little too excited to get going that way!  How am I supposed to sit here at work and concentrate when I have fun stuff to get ready for???  It reminds me of game day Friday's in Highschool.  All I wanted to do was get out to the field and play (...or ride the bench as was too often the case! >:( )  Made it pretty danged hard to appreciate English Lit by second to last period, ...and last period Study Hall was just NOT PRODUCTIVE!

Can't wait either! I have to be stuck at work for only another 8 hours. I might even make a little sawdust tomorrow so I can get my man glitter on before the trip!
