Yew Recurve ID
« on: December 21, 2015, 10:14:29 pm »
I came across this old bow in great shape. I'm not a collector, and I'll pass it on before I decide to shoot it and blow it up. Any info on who might have made these types would be appreciated. Thanks

I'd gladly take it off your hands if you wanted to make a trade ;D

A lot of traditional bows made between 1920-1970 all kinda had that same look. Hard to tell really, any markings?

Nice find!

Tips are identical to a St. Charles u-finish that I have and so that is going to be my guess and I'm also interested.

What are you looking for?
I found many years ago that it is much easier and more rewarding working with those that don't know anything than those that know it all.

I'm looking fort something in the 65lb range that won't blow up. With some arrows etc. I'm also a sticker for nice osage and yew staves. Should we be talking like this on the trade blanket?
