Straight fresh cut osage for seasoned staves.
« on: December 19, 2015, 10:07:29 pm »
I would like to trade some very straight osage 12/6/15 for some dry staves. The osage I have has good rings, has been split and sealed. Most pieces will probably make 2 bows. I'm interested in hhb, black locust, and maybe a few other woods.

Thanks.

Ahhhhh....southern Indiana grows thee best osage in the country. Just look at that gold color.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

I haven't seen any of the red yet but I have more to get cut when the ground finally freezes. When this stuff gets seasoned it should make some beautiful bows.
