Broad banded water snake skins
« on: December 01, 2015, 11:53:03 pm »
Have any of you seen a bow with broad banded water snake skins on it like this one? I have skinned over 1,000 snakes, and I have only skinned four of these.
I was HECHO EN MEXICO, but assembled in Texas and I'm Texican as the day is long...  Psalm 127:4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

Never seen one on a bow, but I have caught many of those (then let em go).  Can't keep the skins here in MO.
Pretty snakes but sometimes have a bad attitude!

Never seen one, but I dig, dig, diggity, dig it.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

I wonder if that is the same water snake I see in Mississippi, when you are in the swamps they fall out of the trees when you approach. I never get a very good look at them.

Not a stupid question, you are correct. Real skins, dead snake. Skin sheds don't retain the color and are far too fragile to be any good whatsoever. Besides the snakes never mind after they're dead.  >:D
