Been huntin' hard since early Oct.,but have'nt had a shot opportunity ,til this morning. Steady 20 mph winds with gust to 35 had my little ERC I was sitting in on a good 3' sway. I got had gotten winded after first light, and coupled with the wind,I nearly got down from the stand I had just hung the evening before. I decided to stay a little longer, when this buck,(in my home county I can take one buck with an inside spread of at least 13",and one with at least one un-branched antler ),came in and stopped at about 13 yards, slightly quartered away. I shot him through both lungs and he made it about 55 yards. I took him with the same osage bow I was using last season.53# @ 26",with a 580 gr. switchcane arrow topped with a bandsaw trade point. God Bless
