What's all the tape for, to use for backing when gluing the cracks? Nice blade. Wish I could make one that big I as m still in training wheels.

Thanks all for the kind words. Im a nervous wreck by the time I get close to the end ( I know Tower its just rock!!!). I have a Rubber pad at the shop I knap over. Only dropped it once

That would make a good blade for either a knife or a throwing eagle.

Imagine getting one of those chucked into your ribcage from 10 yards and the cut being so clean you didn't even need stitches (because it's obsidian)
